The kids and I went to our local park to observe and wonder about nature today. It was really cold, but so still and serene. My son took pictures with our family camera, and I took some with my new one. My youngest daughter followed us around, rosy cheeked and happy. This was her first official nature study outing, and she brought home two rocks she found in the parking area. :)
We came home before too long to view our pictures. My son and oldest daughter made sketches from the pictures in the warmth of our own home, after some mugs of hot chocolate, of course!
